“My sailing experience started as a crew member on a serious race boat in Belmont Harbor in 1972. My job was to handle all the sail changes on the bow along with another crew guy. We had many different jibs and genoas. We won 3rd place on the Mac Race.” -Barry Bernstein

I joined the club in 2023 as a crew member with no prior experience in sailing sailboats. Since joining, I have gained a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience, sailing on various types of sailboats. This journey has not only expanded my sailing skills but also led to the formation of many meaningful friendships within the club.
